Cardiac Nursing
Cardiac nursing sits at the centre of safe, effective, person-centred cardiovascular care. Sessions cover advanced practice nursing in heart-failure, structural-heart and electrophysiology clinics, evidence-based interventions in the CICU, secondary-prevention and lifestyle counselling, telehealth and remote-monitoring workflows, and the role of nurse-led cardiac rehab and AF clinics. Discussion includes workforce development, education, and the integration of nursing leadership into the modern cardiology service.
