Congenital Heart Disease
Congenital heart disease care has been transformed by improved survival into adulthood. Sessions cover ACHD (adult congenital heart disease) clinics, transcatheter and surgical interventions for tetralogy of Fallot, single-ventricle physiology and the Fontan circulation, atrial and ventricular septal defects, coarctation, Ebstein's anomaly, and pulmonary hypertension in CHD. Discussion includes pregnancy in ACHD, arrhythmia management, transition of care and the long-term outcome data driving practice.
