Pediatric Cardiology

Paediatric cardiology spans the foetus to the adolescent transitioning to adult care. Sessions cover congenital heart disease diagnosis and intervention, paediatric heart failure and cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias and ablation in children, Kawasaki and other inflammatory conditions, paediatric heart transplantation and mechanical support, and foetal cardiology and intervention. Discussion addresses long-term outcomes for adult survivors of congenital disease and the multidisciplinary model needed across the life course.
