Coronary Artery Disease
Coronary artery disease remains the largest single cardiovascular cause of mortality worldwide. Sessions cover acute coronary syndromes (STEMI, NSTEMI, unstable angina), stable coronary disease and the ISCHEMIA-era management algorithm, microvascular angina (INOCA / MINOCA), antithrombotic strategy from DAPT to emerging factor XI inhibitors, complex multivessel and chronic total occlusion PCI, and surgical revascularisation. Discussion addresses imaging- and physiology-guided decisions, secondary prevention and the move toward precision antithrombotic therapy.
Topics covered in this session
- STEMI, NSTEMI and unstable angina
- Stable CAD post-ISCHEMIA management
- Microvascular angina (INOCA, MINOCA)
- Antithrombotic strategy (DAPT, factor XI)
- Complex multivessel PCI
- Chronic total occlusion PCI
- Surgical revascularisation
- Secondary prevention after ACS
