Echocardiography
Echocardiography remains the workhorse of cardiac imaging, now augmented by 3D acquisition, strain analysis and AI interpretation. Sessions cover transthoracic and transoesophageal techniques, stress and contrast echo, strain imaging in HFpEF, cardio-oncology and amyloidosis, intracardiac echo for structural-heart procedures, point-of-care ultrasound, and AI-assisted automated measurements. Discussion includes training and credentialing, handheld and smartphone-based devices, and the integration of echo into routine care.
