Nuclear Cardiology
Nuclear cardiology has been reinvigorated by PET, novel tracers and the diagnostic role in amyloidosis and inflammation. Sessions cover SPECT and PET myocardial perfusion imaging, flow-reserve quantification, FDG-PET for cardiac sarcoidosis and device-related infection, bone-tracer imaging for transthyretin amyloidosis, and emerging tracers for fibrosis, innervation and inflammation. Discussion addresses CT-attenuation correction, radiation dose reduction and the integration of nuclear data into clinical decisions.
