Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehabilitation remains one of the most cost-effective interventions in cardiovascular care, yet referral and uptake lag the evidence. Sessions cover phase I-III rehab programmes, exercise prescription post-MI, post-cardiac-surgery and HF rehab, psychosocial and nutritional components, telerehabilitation and digital programmes, and rehabilitation in HFpEF and TAVR populations. Discussion addresses programme delivery in low-resource settings, women's underrepresentation, and integrating rehab into the care continuum.
